Hi all!
I am trying to use FTL on the flash chip mounted on the Freescale
M5282 EVB Lite board with little or no success (ST M29W160E8). After
formatting the flash block device using ftl_format I loaded the ftl
module and got the following output:
ftl_cs: format error: too many transfer units!
ftl_cs: FTL header not found.
I am using the current stable uClinux distro (2007-01-31, my .config
included at the end) with the 2.6.19-uc1 kernel.
BTW, I had some compilation errors caused by setting MTD_JEDECPROBE=y
which I solved with the following patch:
