Here they say that Microtronix did not upgrade their SDK for a long time.

That does not seem to be true any more.

I want to design a device with a Cyclon III FPGA. Thus I need Quartus 
7+, which of course is not usable with the old Microtronix stuff. My 
Altera dealer lately did a demonstration with the Microtronix SDK 
running with Quartus 7. So they do have an upgrade, that seemingly is 
going to be released soon.
