Hi,
I'm developing a uClinux system running on MicroBlaze 7.00 on Spartan3E 1600
Dev Board using the new EDK 9.2. I have a couple of question to ask about.
First, does petaLinux support PLB? The MicroBlaze 7.00 supports PLB, but the
main memory can only choose from OPB types. I downloaded petalinux-v0.20-rc3
package, and the available OS is version 1.00.b, kernel 2.4. Where can I get
version 2.6?
Second, the generated bitstream from the reference design
Xilinx_Spartan3E_1600_RevA_Edk92 has some problem running on the board. Of
course I upgraded it to EDK 9.2. After I downloaded the generated bitstream,
the DDR SDRAM doesn't work properly. In XMD, I simply test the memory like:
mwr 0x22000000 0x12345678, and then mrd 0x22000000, and got like 00000400.
However, the prebuilt bitstream and image file work fine on the board. Have
you tested petaLinux on EDK 9.2?
Thanks for your help,
Mei
