First of all, many, many thanks for setting this up.

However, I don seem to be able to get at the server. I set up the /etc/hosts 
file, the work/.git/config etc, but it looks as if the machine is firewalled. 
I can ping it, it won serve me web pages and git is unable to communicate 
with it.

Any ideas?
