perhaps the Kconfig creation should be extended to allow for vendor and board 
specific menu options then ...

if vendors/$VENDOR/Config.in exists, then source it ... if 
vendors/$VENDOR/$BOARD/Config.in exists, then source it ...

that way i could put this configuration option there as all of the Analog 
Devices boards utilize this configuration option
