Are you looking to:
  - compile Java source code directly to native machine code
    http://www.linuxdevices.com/products/PD2190742044.html
    http://gcc.gnu.org/java/
OR
  - run java byte code on the target?
    http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.0.2/gcj/Invoking-gij.html

http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.0.2/gcj/index.html

There is a good article at:
http://www.linuxdevices.com/articles/AT8918758707.html

Right now, uClinux/Blackfin does not support the above, but I would be
interested in all comments from people who are, or want to run Java in an
embedded uClinux environment, or who have experience with gjc, or
http://www.kaffe.org/ - we are looking at doing this in the near future.

Thanks
