If you leave the RAM size settings as "AUTO" (current default), the board completely fails to work (leaving the user scratching their head). This patch flips the default for both 2.6 and 2.4. No brain surgery - but will hopefuly save someone from a headache.

What version 2.4 and 2.6 kernels are you using?

Hard setting the memory size to 16MB for the current 2.4 kernel is
the same as RAMAUTO (look in
linux-2.4.x/arch/m68knommu/platform/527x/M5271EVB/crt0_ram.S).

Ram auto detection in 2.6 really is detected at runtime.
But we really need to fix the underlying problem if it is broken,
rather than workaround it by hardsetting the size.

Regards
Greg
