Sorry it is in linux-2.0.x and not in linux-2.4.x
i.e,uClinux-dist/linux-2.0.x/drivers/char/t6963fb.c (t6963fb_init() does CS init in this file)
I had just given you an example but you can refer any driver for this purpose.

   You can look at any driver in your uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/drivers/
  If you want an example init just have a look at
  uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/drivers/char/t6963fb.c (t6963fb_init() does CS init
