[uClinux-dev] Odd boot message

In arch/m68knommu/kernel/setup.c:setup_arch() is the line:

printk("\x0F\r\n\nuClinux/" CPU "\n");

The leading "\x0F", what is that supposed to do? On my serial console
(5272 onboard uart using mcfserial.c from dist-20020927) it prints a
garbage byte. Looking through the archives I see sometimes it prints
the garbage byte, sometimes nothing (or the poster cut it out),
sometimes 0F.

Any reason for the extra "\r\n\n" at the start?

Any objections to shortening it to:

printk("uClinux/" CPU "\n");
