pthreads are not supported under uC-libc or under the newer uClibc.  
Bernhard Kuhn has done a port of the FSU pthreads library (which
is a user space, not clone based) pthreads implementation.

Depending on your needs, it is also possible to do pthreads-like 
clone based threading without incuring the many penalties that
come with POSIX threading.
