    No, I use the utility that comes with Net+Lx and is by default on the
ramdisk in the /bin directory, "erase_flash". This app erases all 4 Megs of
flash.

    After that you can copy the new kernel image to flash by "cp <kernel
filename> /dev/mtd0"
